Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for high-risk laboring and antepartum patients with confidence and independence
Perform vaginal exams and internal monitor placement for optimal patient outcomes
Circulate and recover C-section patients while ensuring seamless surgical experiences
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to postpartum and other units as needed to support the broader care team
Read and interpret fetal monitor strips with ACLS and AFM expertise

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada or compact state
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Strong experience with high-risk labor, vaginal exams, and internal monitoring
Comfortable floating between L&D, postpartum, and other units
Cerner charting experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Independent decision-making for high-risk labor and delivery patients
Fetal monitoring interpretation and strip reading
Drip titration expertise for Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
C-section circulation and recovery skills
Couplet care and antepartum patient management
Cerner electronic health record system
