Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to laboring mothers and newborns
Monitor fetal strips and interpret vital data to ensure safe deliveries
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin with precision
Float to Med-Surg and ER units as needed to support the entire hospital team
Collaborate with charge nurses and CNAs to deliver seamless patient care
Follow AWHONN guidelines and quality metrics to promote excellent outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required
ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Previous travel experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Drip titration for Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin
Critical thinking and quality metric adherence
Meditech EMR experience
Philips telemetry monitoring
Traceview/PIP EFM system
