Roles & Responsibilities

• Float between MedSurg Tele and PCU units across both campuses, providing compassionate care to a diverse patient population
• Manage titratable drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin with confidence and precision
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to patient changes in a fast-paced float pool environment
• Deliver excellent post-procedural and post-cardiac care, monitoring groin sites and supporting recovery after MI, Cardiac Cath, and CABG procedures
• Collaborate with charge nurses and nursing assistants to maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 in PCU and 1:5-6 in MedSurg Tele
• Provide flexible coverage across multiple units, adapting quickly to patient needs and unit assignments

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience
• Strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills with ability to pass exam within two attempts
• Comfort managing multiple titratable drips in a telemetry setting
