Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. One evening call per week (3:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and two weekends per month (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate across all surgical specialties with confidence and skill
Support life-saving cardiovascular procedures including CABGs and TCARS
Assist with complex neurosurgical cases like craniotomies and spinal procedures
Guide patients through orthopedic surgeries using advanced robotic systems
Collaborate with surgeons on general, urology, and specialty cases
Precept and mentor fellow team members when opportunities arise

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact state
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital operating room experience
Proven ability to circulate in cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, and general cases
Robotics experience with DaVinci and Mako systems preferred
Strong references and exceptional clinical skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise circulating CABGs, craniotomies, and robotic-assisted procedures
Comfortable floating between Bryan and College Station campuses
Knowledge of trauma, total joints, and minimally invasive techniques
Ability to handle eyes, endo, and cysto specialty cases
Reliable with strong attendance and call response within 30 minutes
