Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients across PCU and Med/Surg units
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic assessments to keep patients stable and comfortable
Collaborate with an amazing multidisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and educators
Float to similar units when needed, bringing your expertise wherever it's most valuable
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that make a real difference

Qualifications

Active RN license and BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
Chemotherapy certification strongly preferred
First-time travelers welcome with a passion for learning and teamwork
Valid driver's license required at time of submission

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and oncology patient care
Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, EV-1000)
ICP monitoring and complex drip titration
EPIC EMR experience within the last 6 months is helpful but not required
Strong communication and genuine compassion for diverse patient populations
