Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive LDRP environment
Monitor fetal strips and interpret vital signs to ensure the safest outcomes for mom and baby
Titrate critical drips such as Pitocin, magnesium, and insulin with precision and confidence
Float to Med-Surg and ER units when needed, showcasing your versatility and adaptability
Collaborate with a dedicated Charge Nurse and supportive CNA team to deliver excellent patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to read fetal monitoring strips
Comfortable floating to multiple units including Med-Surg and ER

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Drip titration for Pitocin, magnesium, and insulin
Critical thinking and quality metric adherence
Meditech EMR experience
Philips telemetry monitoring systems
