Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a Level II trauma center
Deliver specialized NICU support while collaborating closely with physicians and care teams
Operate advanced equipment including PB 980 and Hamilton C1 ventilators to optimize patient outcomes
Cover all facility areas from ICU and surgical units to ER and medical floors with independence and clinical judgment
Build meaningful connections as a respected member of a friendly, multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
Proven NICU experience required
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions

Knowledge & Skills

Strong NICU and critical care experience
Proficiency with Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and V-60 ventilators
Comfort working across all inpatient areas including ICU, ER, and surgical units
Excellent clinical judgment and ability to collaborate with physicians
Flexibility to rotate weekends and holidays every third rotation
