Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start with variable end times, block scheduling with manager, includes call rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $98 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist physicians as directed during a wide variety of surgical procedures
Serve as first assistant across ortho, robotics, neuro, GYN, urology, vascular, and general surgery cases
Provide expert support in total joints, robotic hysterectomies, spine procedures, and DaVinci cases
Float between campuses as needed to support patient care across the system
Respond to call within 30 minutes to ensure continuous OR coverage

Qualifications

Active RNFA license in California
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong experience in ortho, robotics, neuro, and GYN specialties
Comfortable scrubbing and floating between campuses
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Robotics experience is a deal-breaker requirement
Ability to handle complex cases including total joints, brain tumors, and GYN oncology
Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced OR environment
Flexibility to cover call and float between locations
