Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, self-scheduling with manager balancing, 2 weekends per 4-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to telemetry, surgical, and neuro patients on a 48-bed unit
Interpret basic telemetry strips and document findings each shift
Manage care for patients with COVID, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, TIA, and CVA
Support post-operative recovery for general, orthopedic, and spinal surgery patients
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent outcomes
Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified to expand your skillset

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to read and interpret basic telemetry strips
Experience with general and orthopedic surgical patients preferred
Familiarity with CVA and TIA patient care
Cerner experience recommended for smooth onboarding

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and strip documentation
General surgical and orthopedic post-op care
Stroke and TIA patient management
Cerner electronic medical records system
BIPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen support
Team collaboration and floating flexibility
