Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the CT department to ensure smooth, efficient patient care
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to CT technologists and staff
• Perform CT imaging procedures with a focus on safety, accuracy, and patient comfort
• Ensure staff competence by coordinating training, competency checks, and ongoing education
• Maintain and enforce radiation safety and quality assurance practices for CT imaging
• Collaborate with clinical teams to deliver timely, high-quality diagnostic services
• Document procedures, maintain equipment logs, and support compliance activities

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist (required)
• Current Computed Tomography (CT) certification by ARRT (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Three (3) years of experience as a CT Technologist (required)
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Education

• Current Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist
• Current CT certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in Computed Tomography (CT) procedures and safety
• Strong knowledge of CT quality assurance activities and protocols
• Solid patient care skills with attention to comfort and communication
• Familiarity with radiation safety principles and regulatory standards
• Leadership abilities: coaching, mentoring, and coordinating a team
• Good manual dexterity and ability to manage physical demands of imaging work
