Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to patients, focusing on dignity and comfort
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient status accurately in the chart
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Communicate changes in condition to nurses and the care team promptly
• Support infection control practices and maintain a safe, clean environment
• Help with safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics to reduce risk

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (California) — required
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and flexible per-diem availability
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous CNA experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical training are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and active CNA certification (state-required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care and ADL assistance
• Vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection control and standard precautions
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting basics
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
