Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the telemetry unit
Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly report abnormalities
Perform thorough assessments and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Communicate clearly with the interdisciplinary team and patients’ families
Document care and patient status with attention to detail and compliance

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (California licensure required or valid compact license)
Experience or comfort working on a telemetry unit
Ability to work per diem shifts on specified dates and times
Strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills
Current basic life support (BLS) certification (if required by facility)

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making
Medication administration and IV therapy fundamentals
Clear, timely documentation and handoff communication
Teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced hospital setting
Adaptability to changing patient acuity and unit needs
