Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality telemetry nursing care for assigned patients
• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes
• Assess patients regularly and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document thoroughly
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members for best outcomes
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California (or compact equivalent if applicable)
• Telemetry nursing experience or demonstrated competency in cardiac monitoring
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Ability to work per-diem night shifts and respond to staffing needs
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms
• Skilled in patient assessment, IV medication administration, and cardiac meds
• Comfortable with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Prioritization and time management in a fast-paced acute care setting
