Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality resident care using the full nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate and document
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to the physician's plan of care
Interpret diagnostic tests and use findings to inform care plans and resident education
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident-focused care and achieve positive outcomes
Support performance improvement efforts and contribute to initiatives that enhance resident care quality
Provide clear, compassionate education to residents and their families about care, medications and discharge planning

Qualifications

Current California RN license required
Current certification in CPR required
At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
Demonstrated skills in medication administration, nursing assessment and care planning
Ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and document care thoroughly

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Nursing process: assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation
Medication administration and safe documentation
Interpreting diagnostic tests and applying results to nursing care
Resident and family education and communication
Collaborative care planning with interdisciplinary teams
Strong documentation and charting skills

Benefits

Sign-on bonus: $7,500
Progressive pay scale with 30 pay increments rewarding up to 30 years of relevant experience
