Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed PCU unit
- Titrate cardiac and critical drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while managing patients with complex cardiac, vascular, and respiratory needs
- Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient experiences
- Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards
- Respond quickly when called in from on-call status within 30 minutes
Qualifications
- Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Competency managing arterial lines and titrating cardiac drips
- Strong assessment skills and ability to read and interpret telemetry independently
- Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts plus every other weekend
- Willingness to float to MedSurg or ICU and adapt to changing patient needs
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- Drip titration for Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
- Arterial line management
- Care for cardiac, vascular, stroke, sepsis, dialysis, and post-procedure patients
- Strong communication and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
