Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult ICU patients with conditions ranging from trauma and cardiac events to sepsis and respiratory distress
- Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation medications while closely monitoring patient response
- Interpret and document telemetry strips using GE monitors with tele tech support
- Collaborate with nurse aides and healthcare support techs to deliver safe, patient-centered care
- Float to PCU or MedSurg units when needed while maintaining appropriate patient ratios
- Respond to on-call situations within 30 minutes when required
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum one year of recent ICU experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius of any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility
Knowledge & Skills
- ICU nursing with telemetry monitoring and drip titration
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills for complex adult patients
- Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately
- Comfortable floating to step-down or med-surg units as needed
- Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
