Registered Nurse - ICU Float Pool
Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity care across MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU units
- Titrate critical drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips independently while delivering safe patient care
- Collaborate with respiratory therapists and assist in managing ventilators and high-flow oxygen
- Float within a 60-mile zone to support facilities and fill scheduling gaps as needed
- Deliver 1:1 or 1:2 nursing ratios for complex patients requiring CRRT, IABP, or Impella support
Qualifications
- Active Colorado or compact RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience (3+ years preferred for first-time travelers)
- Epic experience strongly preferred for first-time travelers
- Comfortable floating across multiple ICU and step-down units
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical care assessment and drip titration skills
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry independently
- Experience with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
- Flexibility to adapt to different facilities and patient populations
- Excellent communication and teamwork across multidisciplinary units
