Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
- Monitor and titrate critical medications such as Magnesium and Oxytocin to ensure safe deliveries
- Support postpartum recovery by caring for mom-baby couplets and educating families
- Collaborate with the surgical team during C-sections while focusing on newborn circulation
- Float to medical-surgical or emergency departments to lend a helping hand when needed
- Champion patient safety in a rural setting where every decision truly matters
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Comfortable working independently in a rural hospital environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
Knowledge & Skills
- LDRP nursing with a focus on patients greater than 35 weeks gestation
- Electronic fetal monitoring using OB Trace Vue
- Neonatal respiratory support including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow
- Titration of antepartum and postpartum medications
- AWHONN staffing guidelines for safe patient ratios
