Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert LDRP care for mothers and babies from 33 weeks and beyond
• Independently attend deliveries and circulate during C-sections with confidence
• Assist with baby catching and newborn transition support
• Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin
• Monitor fetal heart rates using intermediate or advanced skills
• Collaborate with 24/7 OB anesthesia, OBGYN hospitalists, and NNPs for seamless care
• Support high-risk patients including those with preeclampsia, diabetes, and psychosocial needs
• Float within the unit to postpartum and mother-baby areas while maintaining competencies

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington or compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience preferred; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
• Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
• Experience with fetal heart monitoring at intermediate or advanced level
• Ability to respond to standby call within 45 minutes when assigned

• LDRP nursing with AWHONN-aligned ratios
• Fetal heart monitoring and strip interpretation
• Drip titration for Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin
• Centricity Perinatal EFM system
• C-section circulation and newborn transition support
• High-risk OB care including preeclampsia and diabetes management
