Location: Santa Maria, California
Start Date: 06-07-2026
End Date: 09-06-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with every 3rd weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized occupational therapy services in patients' homes across your assigned region
- Help patients regain independence with activities of daily living after strokes, joint replacements, and spinal injuries
- Collaborate with PTs, OTs, and Speech therapists to create comprehensive care plans
- Complete OASIS documentation accurately to meet government requirements
- Support patients and families with education and resources for continued progress
- Work alongside rehab aides while maintaining high standards of care
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- At least one year of professional experience as an OT
- BLS certification required
- Experience with OASIS documentation
- Home health experience is preferred but not required
- Comfortable working independently in home-based settings
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of OASIS documentation requirements
- Ability to assess and treat a variety of diagnoses including ortho, stroke, and spinal injuries
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Comfortable with Cerner EMR system
- Flexible and adaptable approach to scheduling
