Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with alternating weekend rotation and on-call requirements
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $82 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist Interventional Radiologists with imaging-guided invasive procedures that directly impact patient outcomes
- Coordinate daily IR physician schedules to keep procedures running smoothly and efficiently
- Collaborate with floor nurses and imaging techs to ensure seamless patient care across departments
- Monitor and manage sedation for patients undergoing radiology procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Place peripheral IVs and support pacemaker placements while maintaining excellent clinical standards
- Provide compassionate care to both inpatient and outpatient populations, including pediatric patients when needed
Qualifications
- Active California RN license required
- PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications
- Interventional Radiology experience preferred
- Strong patient monitoring and sedation management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and imaging teams
Knowledge & Skills
- Interventional Radiology procedures including paras, thoras, biopsies, and drainages
- Sedation monitoring and patient safety protocols
- Cerner electronic medical record system
- MRI Safe Pumps and EKG Monitors
- Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams
