Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers following AWHONN guidelines
- Monitor and titrate critical medications including Magnesium and Oxytocin during labor
- Support beautiful mom-baby couplets through postpartum recovery and education
- Circulate during C-sections to ensure safe deliveries for both mother and baby
- Collaborate with a tight-knit rural healthcare team where your independence truly matters
- Float to medical-surgical or emergency departments when extra hands are needed most
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Experience with EFM systems and neonatal equipment including CPAP and BiPAP
- Ability to work independently in a rural setting with limited NICU access
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of Labor and Delivery protocols
- Postpartum and Neonatal care expertise
- Medication titration and drip management
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Adaptability to floating assignments and rural healthcare challenges
