Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert circulating support during cardiovascular open-heart procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, and Thoracotomy cases
- Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team to ensure safe, efficient patient care in the CVOR suite
- Respond to call within 30 minutes to support after-hours and emergency cases
- Float within the OR to other specialties as needed while maintaining CVOR excellence
- Document accurately using Cerner and Surginet EMR systems
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Prior CVOR experience preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiovascular operating room procedures and protocols
- Cerner and Surginet documentation systems
- Call response within 30 minutes
- Ability to scrub is a plus but not required
