Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Santa Maria, California
Start Date: 06-29-2026
End Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with on-call requirements including every other weekend from 3:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday and weekday evening call from 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $93 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in Cath Lab, IR, and EP settings
- Scrub and assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, stent placements, ablations, and device implants
- Float between Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology labs as needed
- Respond to STEMI activations and provide rapid, life-saving care
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner and Xper systems
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and the full care team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active RCIS or ARRT certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- EP lab experience strongly preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to take call with 30-minute response time
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy
- Proficiency with Cerner and Xper documentation systems
- Experience with Phillips telemetry and ventilator management
- Ability to handle 8-12 cases per day across multiple specialties
- Comfortable floating between IR, Cath Lab, and EP procedures
