Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every third weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across antepartum, labor, triage, postpartum, and newborn stages
Monitor and manage common drips including Pitocin, insulin, fluids, and antibiotics
Collaborate with the charge nurse to ensure safe patient ratios of 1:2
Support families through the full spectrum of the birth experience
Document accurately and respond quickly to changing patient needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 1 year of labor and delivery experience
Must pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with Alaris IV pumps
Comfortable working in a 4-bed LDRP unit with 100-125 births per year
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to float and task in MedSurg when needed
