Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert circulating support across all surgical service lines including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, and DaVinci robotics
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, techs, and the care team to ensure safe, efficient procedures for adult, geriatric, pediatric, and obstetric patients
• Float to pre/post-op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed to support patient care across the facility
• Maintain flexibility as daily schedules shift and new cases arise
• Share knowledge and mentor teammates to strengthen department-wide skills
• Uphold strict safety standards and nail policy compliance in all patient care areas

Qualifications

• Active RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong experience across multiple surgical specialties with no specialized team support
• Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90 percent score during orientation
• Valid driver's license at time of submittal to confirm 50-mile radius compliance
• Willingness to follow artificial-nail policy in patient care departments

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
• Comfort working in a 7-OR plus 2-endo-suite environment
• Understanding of varied case types from neurosurgery to robotics
• Strong teamwork and communication across disciplines
• Flexibility to adapt to changing daily schedules and call rotation
