Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across multiple PCU/IMC specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma
Titrate and manage critical drips such as dopamine, dobutamine, cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, heparin, and ativan
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support patient care needs across Colorado Springs and surrounding areas
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to varying patient acuities from step-down to medical-surgical and ED observation units

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMC experience
Comfortable titrating cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin
Epic experience preferred; neuro experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and drip titration skills
Ability to float across multiple specialties and facilities within a 60-mile zone
Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Experience with adult-geriatric patient populations across diverse diagnoses
