Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday schedule with potential for 10-hour shifts; weekend coverage split Wednesday-Sunday and Sunday-Wednesday

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional outpatient physical therapy services to diverse patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create personalized treatment plans for orthopedic, neurological, and medical conditions
Support early mobility programs and contribute to the hospital's stroke and joint replacement certifications
Float between inpatient acute care and outpatient settings to meet patient needs across the continuum
Document care using Cerner EMR and participate in department orientation and skills development

Qualifications

Current California Physical Therapist license required
BLS certification
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Ability to float between inpatient and outpatient settings
Comfortable working with adult and geriatric populations in acute care

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and treatment planning skills across orthopedic, neurological, and pulmonary conditions
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility to adapt to varying patient volumes and care settings
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
