Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care that promotes comfort and enhances quality of life for residents
- Lead and mentor Resident Assistants with coaching, training, and education on proper nursing techniques
- Deliver safe, professional care following facility policies, nursing standards, and state and federal regulations
- Coordinate individualized plans of care to improve outcomes for each resident
- Uphold the Choices Philosophy of Care by treating every resident with dignity and respect
- Maintain a safe environment through vigilant safety practices and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Alaska LPN licensure required
- Current American Heart Association BLSP (CPR) certification required
- 1 year of Long Term Care nursing experience preferred
- New graduates welcome with an 8-12 month preceptorship at Heritage Place
- Associate's degree in nursing
Education
- Associate's degree in nursing required

- Strong assessment and clinical leadership skills
- Ability to coach and educate nursing support staff
- Commitment to resident safety and infection control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
