Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced L&D unit
- Monitor fetal heart rates and respond quickly to any changes during high-risk deliveries
- Circulate during C-sections and support the surgical team with precision and calm
- Educate and support families through postpartum recovery and newborn care
- Collaborate with OB techs, charge nurses, and specialists to ensure seamless patient experiences
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Fetal monitoring certification (AWHONN intermediate or advanced)
- 2-3 years of recent L&D experience
- Prior travel contract experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fetal monitoring interpretation
- Comfortable circulating C-sections
- Cerner EMR and FetalLink experience
- Ability to float between L&D, Postpartum, and NICU as needed
- Excellent communication with diverse patient populations
