Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with trades allowed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units
Monitor and titrate Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate drips independently
Support mothers through labor, delivery, and recovery with compassion and expertise
Care for newborns in both routine and intermediate nursery settings
Collaborate with a close-knit team where every nurse serves as backup for the others
Float to other units as a helping hand when needed

Qualifications

Active Oregon nursing license or eligibility for 90-day emergency license
BLS and NRP certifications required
Strong experience in L&D, Postpartum, Routine Nursery, and Intermediate Nursery
Ability to work independently across all areas of maternal-child care
Comfortable with central fetal monitoring and maternal cardiac telemetry

Knowledge & Skills

AWHONN-compliant patient ratios
Central fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Ventilator stabilization and bubble CPAP support
OB and Neonatology on-call availability 24/7
Flexible mindset to handle both busy and slower census days
