IR Technologist
Location: Stockton, California

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts with 30-minute call response time
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology and cath lab procedures with precision and care
- Assist cardiologists during complex coronary and peripheral cases including STEMI emergencies
- Operate advanced imaging equipment including Siemens, Phillips, and Merge Hemo systems
- Support critical procedures involving Impella, IABP, IVUS, FFR, and laser technology
- Provide compassionate care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with respiratory therapists and pharmacists available 24/7 for comprehensive patient support
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required with current Fluoro permit
- Experience with coronary procedures, balloon pumps, and Impella strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with critically ill patients in high-acuity settings
- Peripheral and coronary circulation experience required
- Knowledge of Merge Hemo system is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with Siemens and Phillips cath lab equipment
- Experience with laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, FFR, and angiojet procedures
- Strong understanding of interventional radiology and cath lab workflows
- Ability to respond to 30-minute call requirements
- Team collaboration and communication skills
