Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Bakersfield, California
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with 1x/week weeknight call and 1 weekend/month call (Friday evening through Monday AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub and monitor hemodynamics during a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures
- Assist with conscious and moderate sedation while ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Manage airway support and administer cardiac drips including Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors
- Operate balloon pumps and support complex interventions such as STEMI cases and neuro procedures
- Collaborate with the lead tech and team to optimize room assignments and workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- Fluoro permit required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum one year of recent cath lab experience
- Comfortable with conscious sedation, procedural processes, airway management, and cardiac drips
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac and coronary interventions
- Vascular and peripheral procedures
- General IR and neuro intervention techniques
- Hemodynamic monitoring and conscious sedation
- Balloon pump operation and cardiac drip management
