Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Bismarck, North Dakota
Start Date: 06-29-2026
End Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM plus call; 1-2 weeknight call shifts per week (3:30 PM - 7:00 AM) and every third weekend on call (24-hour shifts Friday-Monday morning)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub in and assist during a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures
- Pan and activate fluoroscopy equipment to capture high-quality images
- Start IVs and prepare patients for diagnostic and interventional cases
- Support the team with devices such as IABP, Impella, Shockwave, and IVUS
- Collaborate with cardiologists and the Heart & Vascular Pre/Post unit as a floating resource
Qualifications
- BLS certification required
- RCIS or ARRT credential (ARRT must hold active ND Rad Tech License)
- Radiation badge supplied and in hand prior to start
- Comfortable with Philips Xper, Siemens C-Arm, and EPIC charting
- Open to candidates with strong panning experience even if scrubbing is new
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of cardiac cath procedures and equipment
- Familiarity with IABP, Impella, Shockwave, Laser, IFR/FFR, IVUS, and Rotapro
- Ability to respond to call within 20 minutes
- Willingness to float to Heart and Vascular Pre/Post as needed
