Registered Nurse - LDRP

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement (Saturday-Sunday days, Friday-Saturday nights)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert care for mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
- Independently attend deliveries and circulate during C-sections with confidence
- Assist with catching babies and transitioning newborns to ensure safe, healthy starts
- Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to support patient needs
- Function seamlessly across Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby units with routine mom and baby competencies
- Collaborate with 24/7 OB anesthesia, OBGYN hospitalists, and NNPs for comprehensive care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Washington or compact license
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
- Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
- Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating in C-sections
Knowledge & Skills
- LDRP nursing expertise with high-risk OB experience
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for complex maternal-fetal cases
- Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
- Experience with Centricity perinatal EFM system
- Adaptable to unit workflows, policies, and constructive feedback
