Shift Type: Monday-Tuesday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (overnight per-diem shift from 2026-03-09 to 2026-03-10)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for patients during the overnight shift
Assess, monitor, and document patient status, reporting changes promptly
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies according to orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families with clear, empathetic communication
Support unit flow by managing admissions, discharges, and handoffs smoothly

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and other advanced certs welcome
Prior acute care or hospital nursing experience preferred, especially with overnight shifts
Comfortable with electronic health records and bedside documentation
Strong clinical assessment, time management, and communication skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required/preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient assessment and clinical decision-making
Knowledgeable in medication administration and IV therapy
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients safely overnight
Familiarity with infection control practices and hospital protocols
Compassionate bedside manner with clear, professional communication
