Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the MST program
• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Document patient encounters clearly and timely in the medical record
• Educate patients and families with empathy and clarity about care plans
• Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring dignity and respectful treatment

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Clinical experience working as an RN; MST program experience strongly preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS) a plus
• Ability to work independently on per diem shifts and adapt to varying patient needs
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and care planning for acute and complex patients
• Medication administration and accurate charting
• Patient- and family-centered education techniques
• Familiarity with MST-related care protocols and trauma-informed approaches
• Effective teamwork and clear communication with multidisciplinary teams
