Shift Type: Tuesday & Thursday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night, 12-hour)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality med/surg nursing care to assigned patients
Perform ongoing patient assessment and monitor for changes in condition
Administer medications and IV therapy safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to optimize care plans
Document patient care clearly and promptly in the medical record
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Alabama
Clinical experience in Med/Surg nursing preferred
Current BLS certification required; ACLS or specialty certifications a plus
Comfortable and able to work 12-hour night shifts
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
Medication administration and IV therapy competency
Wound care and basic post-operative care knowledge
Accurate clinical documentation and charting skills
Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
