Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shift (specific start/end times and days not provided). Includes orientation.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a behavioral health setting
Conduct assessments, develop nursing plans, and document care accurately and timely
Use evidence-based interventions to support patient stabilization and recovery
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment and discharge planning
Engage patients and families with clear communication and therapeutic support
Participate in orientation and training to maintain clinical competency and best practices

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (ability to practice in New Hampshire preferred)
Experience or interest in behavioral health services (BHS)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; advanced certifications encouraged
Ability to pass required background checks and comply with facility onboarding
Strong communication skills and commitment to compassionate care

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of behavioral health nursing practices and de-escalation techniques
Proficient clinical documentation and medication administration skills
Ability to perform thorough assessments and implement individualized care plans
Team collaboration, critical thinking, and crisis intervention abilities
Comfort working in inpatient behavioral health environments
