Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (overnight)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $37 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients during overnight hours
Perform thorough patient assessments and develop timely care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely, following facility protocols
Monitor patient status, document changes, and escalate concerns to the care team
Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of care
Provide patient and family education with clarity and empathy

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain one
Valid BLS certification required; ACLS or other specialty certifications a plus
Comfortable working independently on overnight shifts
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Previous acute care or relevant nursing experience preferred

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and care planning
Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple clinical tasks during busy shifts
