Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality X-ray and CT imaging studies following established protocols
Ensure patient safety and comfort while delivering compassionate care
Operate and maintain radiology equipment, adhering to safety and radiation standards
Communicate imaging procedures clearly to patients and clinical team members
Apply sound judgment to verify image quality and repeat scans when necessary
Document procedures and maintain accurate patient and imaging records
Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and nursing staff to support patient care

Qualifications

Illinois Radiologic Technologist license (required)
Graduate of an accredited radiological technology program
CRP Certification (as listed in job requirements)
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
Basic computer knowledge and comfort with digital imaging systems
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to use sound judgment
Basic math skills and ability to follow one- or two-step instructions

Education

Graduate of an accredited radiological technology program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in X-ray imaging techniques
Experience with CT imaging and protocols
Foundational knowledge of radiologic technology and radiation safety
Patient care skills with an emphasis on comfort and communication
Familiarity with basic computer systems and imaging software
Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail for image quality and documentation
