Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging with accuracy, putting patient safety first
• Prepare patients and position them for imaging while explaining procedures clearly
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to manufacturer and facility guidelines
• Ensure high-quality images and proper documentation for radiologist review
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols at all times
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the care team to support excellent patient outcomes
• Participate in orientation, training, and continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

• Valid ARRT registration or equivalent credential in radiologic technology preferred
• State radiologic technologist license in Missouri or eligibility to obtain one
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist is a plus
• Strong patient care focus, dependable attendance, and good communication skills

Education

• Associate degree or diploma in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Completion of an accredited radiography program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of radiation safety and dose reduction techniques
• Proficiency in patient positioning and anatomy relevant to radiography
• Ability to assess image quality and troubleshoot common imaging issues
• Familiarity with PACS, image archiving, and basic electronic documentation
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Time management and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical setting
