Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered outpatient physical therapy services
• Assess patient function and design individualized treatment plans to meet goals
• Deliver therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise training, and functional mobility work
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate outstanding care
• Document patient progress thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records
• Educate patients and families on home programs and injury prevention strategies
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to align with facility standards and best practices

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted California Physical Therapy license (required)
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or equivalent clinical degree
• BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation)
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative care team

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master’s or Bachelor’s in a related field considered with appropriate licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, treatment planning, and outcome measurement
• Proficient with common outpatient therapeutic techniques and modalities
• Experience with gait training, therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
• Excellent interpersonal skills for coaching patients and collaborating with staff
