Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities using evidence-based assessment tools and clinical judgment
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that promote independence and improve quality of life
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings
• Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the EMR accurately and timely
• Manage a diverse caseload independently while prioritizing patient safety and outcomes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize patient progress
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic strategies, home programs, and adaptive equipment to support recovery
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust plans based on patient response and goals

Qualifications

• Active California Occupational Therapist License in good standing
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• 2-3 years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or outpatient settings preferred
• Proficiency with computers and EMR documentation
• Ability to independently manage diverse caseloads with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Compliance with California OT regulatory requirements

Education

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

• Full-Time Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
• Part-Time Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
