Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled occupational therapy evaluations and evidence-based interventions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that make a real difference
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
Document clinical progress clearly and timely in the medical record
Educate patients and families to support functional independence
Participate in orientation and onboarding to ensure smooth integration into the team

Qualifications

Licensed Occupational Therapist in California (or eligible for licensure)
Degree in Occupational Therapy (MS/OTD) from an accredited program
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience in outpatient therapy settings preferred
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Ability to work reliably for scheduled 5-hour shifts and attend orientation

Education

Master of Science in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD)
Graduation from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in OT evaluation and intervention techniques
Knowledge of functional outcome measures and documentation best practices
Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical workflows
Strong clinical reasoning and goal-setting abilities
Comfortable collaborating across disciplines and educating caregivers
