Location: St. Louis, MO

Start Date: 05-15-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare patients for exams and procedures with care and professionalism
Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints accurately
Assist providers during exams and help maintain efficient clinic flow
Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed
Document patient encounters clearly in the electronic health record
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
Communicate with patients and families in a compassionate, respectful way
Participate in orientation activities and help onboard new team members

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) or relevant clinical experience
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with basic clinical skills such as phlebotomy and EHR documentation
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Ability to pass required onboarding and orientation at the facility

Education

High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with outpatient clinic workflows and patient intake processes
Basic understanding of infection control and safety procedures
Competence with electronic health records and charting
Good time management and multitasking in a busy clinic setting
Customer service approach to patient interactions
Attention to detail for accurate specimen labeling and documentation
