Location: Wyncote, Pennsylvania

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem night shift, 7:00 PM - 11:30 PM (schedule varies, nights)

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care to residents at the Hopkins Center
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Assess patient status, record vital signs, and report changes promptly
Document care in the patient record thoroughly and professionally
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
Support residents and families with clear communication and empathy
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Active LPN licensure (Licensed Practical Nurse) — required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Previous LPN experience preferred, especially in long-term care or rehab settings
Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work independently during night shifts
Reliable professional references and a commitment to resident-centered care

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program or equivalent vocational nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Solid medication administration and documentation skills
Proficient in basic nursing assessments and vital sign monitoring
Comfortable with electronic charting and clear written notes
Good communication and teamwork skills with interdisciplinary staff
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
