Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, days vary, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to facility protocols
Assess resident condition, monitor changes, and communicate updates to the care team
Document care accurately and promptly to support continuity and compliance
Collaborate with CNAs, therapists, and providers to deliver coordinated care plans
Support resident dignity and comfort while promoting mobility and independence

Qualifications

Current, valid LPN or RN license (appropriate to practice as LPN or RN)
Relevant clinical experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain it
Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
Ability to pass facility onboarding, background checks, and any required health screenings

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing or registered nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation best practices
Familiarity with wound care, restorative nursing, and mobility assistance
Comfortable using electronic health records and charting accurately
Good assessment skills to identify subtle changes in resident condition
Team-oriented approach and the ability to mentor and support colleagues
