Location: Pembroke, NC

Start Date: 03-02-2026

End Date: 05-11-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; schedule cycles 4x12 one week and 3x12 the next (night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to the care team
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly in the chart
Support activities of daily living and promote patient comfort and dignity
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure smooth transitions

Qualifications

Current LPN license in North Carolina (or eligible to obtain NC licensure)
Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN training program
Current BLS/CPR certification
Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and flexible rotation patterns
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation best practices
Skilled in basic clinical assessments and monitoring vital signs
Ability to provide safe patient handling and assist with ADLs
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
Good infection control practices and attention to detail
