Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts; exact start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed with facility

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on a skilled nursing unit
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor and document vital signs, conditions, and changes in patient status
Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility as needed
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans
Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation in the medical record
Follow infection control policies and uphold patient safety standards

Qualifications

Valid LPN license (Pennsylvania license preferred or eligible to obtain)
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with medication administration, charting, and resident care
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Professional, reliable, and committed to delivering respectful care

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program
High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic pharmacology knowledge
Patient assessment and monitoring of vital signs
Wound care and basic clinical procedures common to skilled nursing
Proficiency with clinical documentation and electronic medical records
Infection control practices and HIPAA-compliant communication
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care setting
